OVERVIEW & BACKGROUND
This program is open to candidates with Science and Arts Stream at Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), Matriculation, Foundation and Diploma and/or equivalent. Each candidate applying for the Bachelor of Education with Honors is subject to the Universities General Requirements and Programme Specific Requirement.
Bachelor of Education with Honors and Bachelor with Education with Honors offered in Faculty of Human Sciences (FSK) is a program that offers a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to ensure that students are able to cope with the current global challenges.
Faculty’s aim to produce human capital that are well trained in the diverse studies of social sciences and humanities through a range of activities of teaching, research, publications and other scholarly activities that appropriate.
Offering this program is aligned with the vision and mission of the University to actualize the next generation of educators that are attentive and competent in steering the national education in the future.
The faculty will regulate teaching and learning, research, publications, dissemination of knowledge, supervision and consultation in the first degree. To meet these aspirations, the faculty offers the following programme:
AT32 – BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (HISTORY) WITH HONORS
Objective
- To produce graduate who possess the knowledge and professional skills in the field of History.
- To produce graduates who are able to teach and manage the History subject offered in schools.
- To educate students in order for them to be competent in analyzing the current issues within and outside the country through the approach of History.
- To produce graduates that could contribute to the betterment of the discipline of History as one of the important fields in schools, educational institutions and research in Malaysia.

- To produce graduates who are able to teach and manage the Geography subject offered in schools.
- To produce graduates who are competent in contributing to the betterment of the field of Geography as one of the important fields in schools, educational institutions and research in Malaysia.

- Produce graduates who are able to teach and manage the Islamic Education subject offered in schools.
- Produce graduates who are able to contribute to the society and nation.
- Undertake suitable and effective examinations and assessments in Islamic Education.

- To train and prepare future teachers who possess ample knowledge and skills in the field of Malaysian Studies and Moral Education in order to fulfill the demands for educators in schools and higher learning institutions.
- To produce graduates who possess the knowledge, integrity and positive attitude in leadership and able to contribute to the nation’s development.
- To increase the capacity and participation of the department’s academic workforce in the aspect of the development for both the faculty and the university.
