Faculty of Human Sciences, Sultan Idris Education University
Faculty of Human Sciences was established in 2005. This faculty has a strong tradition of teaching in Geography, Environment, History, Islamic Studies, Social Studies and Citizenship. These programmes offer a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to ensure that students would be able to face contemporary global challenges
Faculty of Human Sciences is proud of its reputation of being a friendly faculty and a suitable place to study. Faculty members are easily available for discussion on issues pertaining to academic matters and student development. The faculty is one of the most rapidly developing faculties in the University.
• To establish departments of studies in the field of social sciences and humanities which will focus on education in line with Sultan Idris Education University as the leasing education university;
• To produce graduates trained in various fields of social sciences and humanities education in accordance with the mission and vision of the university;
• To upgrade teaching and learning, research, publication and various academic activities with the substantive role as an institution of higher learning;
• The establishment of the faculty is consistent with the vision and mission of the university to produce next generation of educators who are sensitive and competent in leading national education in the future.
